🚌 By Bus : The TGM Network

The Transports du Grand Montauban (TGM) network is the backbone of urban and suburban travel:

  • Extensive Network: Comprising regular lines (including 8 main lines) and suburban lines, it serves the main points of interest, train stations, and shopping centers in the metropolitan area.
  • Convenience: Buses run from Monday to Saturday. You can pay for your ticket directly by credit card on board.

🚴 By Bike : Soft Mobility

Montauban is a pleasant city to explore by bike, thanks to its network of cycle paths and greenways (particularly along the Canal de Montech).

  • Bike Sharing: The « TM à Vélo » service offers bike sharing, accessible 24/7, with 17 stations in the city center. The first 20 minutes are free. (Download the “TM à vélo” app to use this service).
  • Traditional Rental: La « Maison du Vélo » (located on Allée de l’Empereur) offers bike rentals for short or long periods (standard, folding, electric, or even cargo bikes).

Good to know: La « Maison du Vélo » is also an excellent source of information on cycling routes and can provide basic tools for minor repairs.
