Why « Les 400 Coups »?
« Les 400 Coups » is the perfect name, bringing together three themes that are dear to the club: the moves played (a reference to chess), the expression “faire les 400 coups” (to play all 400 moves), which reflects the spirit we want to bring to the Festival, and the link with the history of the city of Montauban (which is where the expression we all know
comes from!).
